When I get hungry, instead of reaching for a snack, whether its label reads “healthy” or not, I choose real food. It’s always the healthier choice. ❤️
Here I fixed a bowl of oatmeal + organic peanut butter + pear + flax seeds. Good fiber, fats & a touch of sweetness from the pear.
Use old fashion or steel cut oats NOT quick oats or flavored versions which undergo more processing & as a result have fewer nutrients & less fiber.
